36 year old black male,9 years no major hiv symptom how high is my risk? No fevers had the common cold throughout the nine years and normal ok in 3/5 days. At the time I was 6 2 215 and now am 6 2 265. My encounter was with a female 9 years ago whom I dated for 2 years, we talked about our status and I told her that I had recently taking a test do to my child needing a blood transfusion, she told me she had due to Katrina in New Orleans and with all the nasty stuff floating around she felt she needed to,.. Later I found she had blood work, but no hiv test. I have no clue why 9 years later it has crossed my mind, but now I m a tab worried. Like I said no major health problems, but read an article today that said people go 10-15 years with no symptoms, so I freaked out!!! I occasionally got a break out on my neck for two summers straight, but wasn t red or itchy, no diarrhea, etc...
