Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Have you shown to an orthopediast? A true swelling is rare in the arch area- if there is a definite swelling, treatment of the same can cure the pain. That can be a plantar wart or plantar fascitis.

Kindly consult an orthopedist and a physiotherapist. Orthopedist can help in removing the swelling or steroid/analgesic injection there, while physiotherapist can help in physical therapy and foot wear adjustments.

Meanwhile, avoid overweight/obesity and take analgesics like acetaminophen or ibuprofen for pain relief.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam TK
