How Should Eye Squinting Be Treated?

hi, i hav ea baby boy 2yrs and have noticed a little squint from 1 eye, had taken him to a dr when he was 6mth and the doc said to wait till 2 yrs and will know for sure if he has a squint. the dr did the light test where he rools the ight from one end to the other and said that he is ok in focusing. any advice?

Now phoriacase can be done and if any phoria is present can be detected. cover test can be don and squint can be detected. any way you have to wait till he grows up. surgical correction can be done upto age of 9 years. orthoptic treatment with patch treatment the child have to cooperate. you can consult doctor inhospital having orthoptic treatment facilty
