How Should Fluorouracil Cream Be Applied For The Treatment Of Skin Cancer?
fluorouracil cream has been recommended for small skin cancers - with the instructions use it all over, it can t hurt. From what I ve read on your website, these are terrible and inaccurate instructions that would cause harm. Would you please comment and clarify. Thank you!
Fluorouracil should be applied to the affected area with a finger, glove, or applicator. Wash hand before and after use. Make sure to cover the whole area affected. The dose is different for different conditions but for cancer, we generally advise 5 per cent cream 2 times a day may be for many weeks. (as prescribed by your dr.)
Some skin redness and inflammation is common and should not make you stop the drug. Inflammation is too much, talk to your doctor before stopping the cream.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Mahboob Ur Rahman,
