How Safe Is Taking Salmucolite For Gastric Problem?

My son aged 14 and weight 44 kg. is suffering from severe gas problem.chmany a times he nearly chokes and becomes breathless.Doctor has prescribed pantocid20 and vizylac syrup.Earlier he was on an antibiotic named Tab Azee 500mg once daily for seven days for symptoms of Broncitis.His chest is clear now.however salmucolite is administered twice daily for the last 10 days.Please advice.

Make lifestyle modification to augment the effect of medication. Drink a lot of water. Sleep with the head end elevated, cut down on caffeinated beverages.
