How Safe Is Taking Betnesol Injection?
my wife is 28 week Pregnant & doctor has suggested to take betnesol injection 3 quantity with 12 hrs diff 2 times.
aslo 2 years back she had passed with premature labour of twins @ 26 week, at that time leaking is problem @ 22 week....
can i go with doctor's suggestion???

yes, it would be better to take 2 doses of betnesol injection.. This helps in fetal lung maturiy.. Since she has a history for preterm labour, the chance of it repeat in this pregnancy is high.. If betnesol is taken, fetal lung will be mature to survive better.. only problem associated with it is it can cause rise in sugar level in diabetic.. Hope I have answered your query.. good day
