How Safe Is Taking Lisinopril For Elevation Of BP Levels?

I am 70 yr old male; 5' 10", 230. We are midway through Lent, and I haven't had a drop of booze in three weeks. I ordinarily take 20 mg of lisinopril daily. My blood pressure today is 126/68 with a pulse rate of 69. I would be elated, except that I have been taking 40 mg of lisinopril at about 7 am and another 40 about 6 pm for 3 days. I started the higher doses when my reading was 155/91. What do you think?
