How Safe Is Taking Ketorolac For Swelling And Pain Of Gums?

Hello, I am visiting in Mexico and had some dental work done. They had to cut some of my gum to replace a crown. I now have the temp. crown and am experiencing some swelling and pain in the gum on one side of the temp. crown. I don t have an appointment for another week so went to pharmacy to see if they had ambosol to topical relief. They don t have that or anything like that here. The lady working behind the counter gave me Ketorolac. I know not to take aspirin or things like it with it but there was no prescription. Is this safe to take? I know not more than 5 days,

Hello and thank you for your question
Ketrolac is safe but should not be used for more than 5 days. Like all anti-inflammatory drugs it can cause some stomach upset so take it with food.
Regards
