How Safe Is Taking Fertigyn 5000 Units Injection During Pregnancy?

hello doctor, now i am in 9 th week pregnant my doctor is asking to take fertigyn 5000 units injection till november weekly once but she told the baby was well developed conditon in ultra scan report shows 16.3mm in (8 weeks + 2 days).whether it is advise to take injection

Hi, I have gone through your question. Fertigyn is hCG injection which is given to support the pregnancy. It is given in patients with threatened abortion or bleeding. It can be given safely upto 14 weeks of pregnancy. Your doctor must have advised you this injection for some reason.
