How Safe Is Fruita Planta?

Hi: Dr. Grief, I am 57 and I am 5'11, 210 pounds, 32.6 waist, 46 chest. I want to drop down to 170, within my BMI. I mixed physical training cardios, pull ups, and light weight training (60 pounds barbells). I stretch on a daily bases. I plan and schedule when, what and how much I am going to eat. I do not have any illnesses. I just want to get within my BMI safely and strongly. I was thinking about taking Fruita Planta. Is it safe? I train lightly like a MMa fighter. I use to train before a fight for 3-4 hours. I am older and I am full time rn student. I believe that very cup size portions of lean meat, quinoa for or (complex) carbs and mixed veggies and moderate exercise of all extremities will do it. What do you think?

Hello dear,

First of all, please do not be in a hurry to reduce weight. The body functions according to its own metabolic rate and any measure taken (in the form of pills or supplements) to enhance it will interfere with the normal metabolic rate of the body & causes a number of side effects.

For effective weight control, equal importance should be given to both diet & exercise.
So, a low calorie low fat diet and regular exercise should be followed such as:

1. Avoid eating white breads, rice and pasta. They have high calories and increases the blood sugar level.
2. It is better to have complex carbohydrates such as whole wheat bread, oatmeal and brown rice.
3. Consume low fat versions of milk and cheese and avoid oily foods.
4. Have a diet rich in low calorie protein foods such as egg whites, skinless chicken, fish, etc.
5. It is better to avoid soft drinks and fruit juices which are rich in calories.
Instead, drink large amount of water (about 6 to 8 glasses) throughout the day.
6. Dietary fiber such as whole grains, vegetables, fruits, and nuts can also be included in the diet.

If you still find any difficulty, kindly get certain investigations like estimation of blood pressure & blood sugar levels, Thyroid profile & Lipid profile to rule out any pathological cause.

Wishing you a Good Health.
Take care.
