How Long Will It Take To Cure From A Bruised Toenail?
Hi, may I answer your health queries? Please type your query here...I Had an accident and one of my problems is my big toe is bruised black and blue. And my toe nail is white looking. If I lose it, will it need any special care? Also will it hurt until a new nail is grown which I know will take many many months?

From history it seems that there might be soft tissue injury of big toe with nail bed infection.
nothing to worry.
Go for one antibiotic medicine course for 3-5 days.
Go for regular dressing by cleaning the wound with antiseptic lotion and apply antibiotic cream.
Mostly nail will be preserved and if it came out, there will be new nail will be erupted.
Ok and take care.
