How Long Will It Take To Cure Acquired Torticollis?
I have acquired torticollis a fancy name for a very bad stiff neck! I m in so much pain, it hurts when I swallow. The doctor gave me anti-inflammatory to take twice a day and a muscle relaxer at night. I also have been applying ice to neck. I just started taking meds yesterday. How long will it take for meds to kick in and what do I do about the swallowing?

Torticollis is a very common problem and in your case, it appears that the cause is neck inflammation.
Continue medicines and the effect may show in 3-4 days. Do not apply Ice but hot packs and do warm saline gargles for swallowing.
