How Long The Tear On The Rotator Cuff Take To Heal?

I had bone spurs removed from my right shoulder in april and they had shredded the ligaments and tendons and supposedly no tear in rotater cuff, but X-rays showed small tear.,anyway i m still having a lot of pain. How long does it take to actually heal where you can sleep on it? debbie

Hi,Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that you have got surgery over right shoulder . I think complete recovery from surgery will take nearly 3months. Till then you can take analgesic such as ibuprofen and follow advise of your treated doctor. HE must have advised you some exercises . You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it.
