How Long Should One Take AKT 4 For Tuberculosis?
Sir/Madam,Recently my Sputum Test revealed that i have TB.And my doctor says the stage is very initial one.So My doctor has prescribed AKT 4 for seven days and after seven days AKT 3 for one month.But on various websites its mentioned that AKT 4 should be taken for atleast 2-3 months.Shall i talk to my doctor about this??? Or should i follow my doctors prescription???.

I really appreciate your concern, ideally once the Anti tubercular medicine started with certain regime must not be changed suddenly unless have some reason to change, better to have a word with physician, you can even contact the DOT center for further information, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
