How Long Should Septilin Be Taken For Tonsilitis?

hi doctor , i have a tonsil on right side , this is for seven month . i have consult with ent doctors. they told me that this is only tonsil infection. solving feel if i live in ac or cool place. now i was suggest to take septillin of Himalaya co. now i am feeling good . pls. suggest that how long time it should be taken . or if other medicine for tonsills soliving

As per your query, you have tonsilitis. I would suggest you to consult an ENT Specialist as you will require thorough evaluation. You can take septilin for a month but antibiotics is very important for infection. You should take combination of antibiotic along with decongestants.

You need anti-inflammatory medicines as well. You should incorporate some lifestyle changes like avoid spicy, fried and oily food. Avoid cold beverages. Get adequate rest and do salt water gargles several times a day. Drink plenty of water to keep the throat moist and prevent dehydration. Drink Warm liquids like tea or warm water with honey.

You should not smoke at all if you do. You can go for tonsillectomy as well after proper prescription by doctor.
