General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear
Understand your concern
Perparation H should be taken for 5-7 days.
Other advice that help you:
1. Application of petroleum jelly or zinc oxide and lidocaine.
2. Warm (but not hot) sitz baths a: sit in about 8-10 cm of warm water for 15-20 minutes,2-3 times/day, especially after a bowel movement.
Food rich in fiber, drink plenty of fluid, avoid stari while passing stool.
If medical drugs will not help and bleeds thenundergo surgery like Coagulation, sclerotherapy & Banding,
Hope this may help you
