How Long Post D&C Will Periods Resume?

Hi.. I had a d and c 5 weeks back on Aug 3rd..had mild bleeding for a week..d and c was done as I had abnormal bleeding due to endometrial hyperplasia. Last week I had some brownish discharge for 2 days only seen while wiping with tissue paper..I even did home pregnancy test yesterday came out negative..when will I have my periods

Hi.

It may take some time for you to return to your normal cycle, but if it takes or has taken more than 2 months for your period to appear, then visit your treating doctor who can prescribe you some pills to help with the appearance of your period. These pills can be used to help regulate or push start your cycle, and can then be gradually weaned off so your reproductive system can start functioning on its own.
