How Long Does The Swelling In Vulva Take To Alleviate?

Hi there! I recently had a yeast infection which swollen my Vulva or labia (whichever are the inside lips) on the whole right side. After taking a single dose of Diflucan the next day, that night, the itching stop. However, the Vulva is still swollen. How long does it take to go down?

Hi,
I understand your concern.
You had taken medicine for the infection, as a result, the infection started to be controlled & it's symptom if itching stopped.
But the swelling resulted from itching the vulva( causing local trauma/ inflammation).. will take time to resolve. IT needs to be kept clean( by frequent warm water washes)/ application of ointment containing Flucanozole with betamethazone would ease the relief.Continue the medicines for infection as per advise. It should go within a couple of days
thanks.
