How Long Does The Effect Of Ellaone Morning After Pill Stay In The System?

HI Doctor! I have taken an EllaOne morning after pill last month(june) and the experience made me realise that we wanna have a baby. My next period is due next week then when I ovulate we will start trying. I am a bit scared about taking the pill just last month, if its still remain in my body or has it leave my system completely? Is it safe to try after just 2 period taking that pill? Thanks

Welcome to HCM,
I read your query and i appreciate your concern regarding this issue.

As you took emergency contraceptive pill during last cycle so that it will not effect your this cycle or in other words that pill can not give contraceptive effects in this cycle.
So do not worry about it.
If you have a pretty regular cycle then your ovulatory days will be between 12-16 days of your cycle and its the best time for conception.
Take healthy diet.
Start taking folic acid it will be helpful in conception.
