How Long Does Swelling And Pain Persist On The Feet After A Thorn Prick?

One month ago I had a bougainvillea thorn prick on my feet...later I noticed swelling on my feet and excruciating pain...taken antibiotics and subsided..after 2 weeks again d same symptoms happened....now taking amoxicillin and clavulanic acid combination and the swelling decreased in chance..Is there any chance for further infection ???.

I really appreciate your concern, if it is the foreign body inside then it need to be ruled out first and if found out something like that then it need to be taken out else this may cause the infection again and again hope this information concern.
