My husband was on induced coma for about 2days After an emergency surgery due to large intestinal perforation.he was taking out of the breathing machine this morning he is able to breathing by himself but still sleeping.he open his eyes and look at me but not able to talk and go back to sleep.has been 12 hs and he still sleeping.he is 75years old very debilitated before the rupture.isthat normal.his vital signs are good and stable.howlong more will be taking for him to be fully awake.thanks
