General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
Welcome to HCM.
I am Dr Rakesh Sharma answering your query.
I can understand your concern.
It usually takes about 10 to 15 days for full elimination of organism.
By now he must have recovered from infection.
He must take high protein diet with multivitamin supplements.
Drink plenty of fluids.
Avoid exertion.
What ever he is doing seems to be fine.
Tests can be repeated after about 4 weeks.
Hope this suggestion helps.
Good luck.
