Hello, I have had to take a year off from studies because on 13 October 2015, after a mandatory Chest XRay revealed a patch of latent TB opacity in my left lung. The size of patch was really small as compared to other TB patient Xrays I had seen in the past, and also, i never had any symptoms at all. I am well built, 5,9 weighing 80kgs. I started treatment for TB even though i never had any symptoms on 10th november 2015. I have completed 6 months of my treatment this month on 10th May 2016 and having taken all medicines on time, i can still see opacity on xray, which according to the doctor is a scar. I have to apply for a visa back, so how much time does it take for the scar to be eliminated? Are there are any breathing excercises that can be done, or any supplements be taken at the end of my treatment to make sure something like TB doesnt reappear again in life?
