How Long Does Flu Remain Contagious?

I went to the Dr for diagnosis and I do have the flu. I have had it at least 9 days. Just keep getting weaker and more out of breath is if I try to get up. Am I still contagious? It is Sunday. Is it OK to wait to go to myDr. Tomorrow or should I have try to get to the ER today. Chills and fever. Normal temp 96.8. Running between 97.4 and 98.8.

Hello dear. Thank you for using Healthcaremagic. I think it is nanymir but it us more complicated now since it lasted for so long maybe bronchitis or pneumonie , the doctor will determine it by auscultation and /or x ray. You are contagious till you have no symtoms any more. Best regards.
