How Long Does Breathlessness Due To Naproxen Persist?

I appear to have had an allergic reaction to naproxen (given for back strain) while on holiday in the UK. I ve been back to my Doctor in Canada as my breathing is very poor. I am breathless with very light exertion. Im usually in pretty good shape. I stopped taking it 10 days ago and I m still breathless at the slightest effort. I have symbicort 200 to use twice a day. The constant indigestion has gone. I wonder how long this might last?

Hi welcome to health care magic...

You are using symbiocort inhaler that used in bronchoconstriction in case of asthma. ...

Naproxane can lead indigestion that was present for few days...

Here your breathing difficulty could be from asthma precipitation if you have history of asthma...

Spirometry and chest x ray done for evaluate cause and assess severity...
CBC also should be done with AEC count....
For allergic inflammation if needed Allegra can be given...

According to report your further treatment plan will be decided.

Take care

Advise : Pulmonologist consultation for examination
