my mom, ( she 80 and in good health) had a heart attack this past Saturday, July 9th. She was Resuscitated and brought back with a pulse rushed to ICU- she underwent Hypothermia treatment for 24 hours, her vitals are stable, kidney function good; the MRI of brain showed no brain bleed or stroke. She was put in a paralitic coma on Saturday evening. Later Sunday night- early Monday, they started gradually warming her up- no seizures and vitals remained stable- they have started the withdrawal of the narcotics - at midnight tonight it will be about a day and a half- she still has not awakened- she is twitching and tried to move her hands- are these good signs and when can she expect to wake up/come out of this coma state?
