General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Yes, it may be possible that patient starts feeling pain after some days as in initial days, there may be spasm. If person has no respiratory difficulty and his chest X-ray is fine, then he needs only pain killers for a few days. Patient is advised to avoid strenuous activity.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Varinder Joshi,
