How Long Does THC Last In The System Of A Pregnant Woman?
I m 36 weeks pregnant measuring at 37 weeks. Last time I smoked marijuana was yesterday. I use to be a heavy smoker but have cut down to a few hitters a day. I m wondering if there is anything I can do to flush out my system, or how long it will take for the thc to be out
Understanding your concern. As per your query you are in 36 weeks of pregnancy and you took marijuana yesterday which is something you should be concerned about as taking THC during pregnancy may affect your baby’s growth and the development. Child may suffer from short term memory loss and problems of focusing. After baby birth you should stop yourself from breast feeding as it can passed to your baby through milk. It is not at all safe in pregnancy. I would advise you to stop it right now and it will take 48-72 hours to get out of your system completely. You should take diet rich in multivitamins. You have to stop it as t could affect fetal nervous system as well.
Hope your concern has been resolved.

Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
