How Long Does Methamphetamine Stay In The System?

I m worried for my best friend, she is pregnant and due June 18, 2017 she has used methamphetamine twice a week during her pregnancy she still eats really well and stays pretty hydrated. She s worried she will lose her baby if she quits smoking meth now. What are her chances to have a clean system or at least the baby s system?? Please help me ease her mind just a little bit. She s a good mom and a great person just has a problem. Thanks concerned for my best friend. .

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

In 12-34 hours, the concentration of Methamphetamine in your blood will be reduced by half.

The time to leave the body = 2-10 days.

Generally, the heavier the user, the longer it will take for meth to leave the body.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi,
