How Long Does C.difficile Infection Remain Contagious?

I have had bad, green diarrhea since Monday, AM. I had a stool sample sent to a lab today and the after hours Doctor just called me and said I have C diff and I had to go to a 24 hr pharmacy right then. I just started on Metronidazole 500mg. How long until I m no contagious?
