Diagnosed with bronchiectasis and MAC NTM. Recently had exacerbation a few weeks ago. Tried moxiflaven.? Now amoxicillin. Been on 48 hrs so far. No change yet. Still have a cough sputum Yellow to green. Sputum a little thicker. How long does it to for amoxicillin to wrk

Generally for antibiotics to work, you should wait for 72 hrs at least, if there is no improvement in symptoms then it may be a sign of resistance to that drug and it should be change.
