How Long Do The Wounds From ORIF Surgery Post Tibia Fracture Take To Heal?

Hi.. This is Ravi Shankar (38 years old) Male. I met with an accident and fractured my proximal tibia and undergone ORIF with plate and screw fixation. The surgery went on well and the sutures removed 20 days back and I am still not weightbearing as instructed. I suffer hypertension stage II for 5 years and mild varicosities in my bilateral legs; for both I am undergoing treatment. My concerns is that the suture wonds are still not healed. I was on linezolid 600 mg tablet for 14 days, followed by ciprofloxacin 500 mg for five days now along with a calcium supplementation. No secondary infection and the wound is slowly healing. In your experience how long does it normally take for the wounds to get healed and importantly how frequently it is advised to dress the wounds in my case (I do it on a daily basis - is this recommended or I let it heal dressing it once in two/three days) Thank you..
