My husband had a ganglion cyst removed from the knuckle of his ring finger on July 12, The finer is still very swollen and still hurts, yet his doctor has discharged him. How long does it take for the swelling to go down and normal function to return

I really appreciate your concern, ideally such surgery may take couple week for complete healing even may not noticed any swelling and if it is the swelling is there then better to see the doctor again hope this information helps.
