How Long Do Surgical Stitches After Delivery Take To Heal?

I have some bruises on my butt I think its because of my sitting and the uncomfortableness of my stitches ,it really need sum advice on this. thanks doc :)
As a physician I would like to tell you that normal delivery stitches will take 10 to 15 days to heal and dry after delivery. I would suggest that you should take your prescribed medications and apply given antibiotic creams like Cipladine Ointment for a course of 10 to 15 days.
Once the wound is clean, the pain will gradually decrease and the gap between wound closes gradually.
Thanks for trusting and posting your query on this forum.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Abhijeet
