How Long Do Soreness And Swelling On Cheek Bone And Nose Take To Alleviate?

Hi. I fell in the shower 2 weeks ago and hit my face on the edge of the tub where the track for the shower door is, hit across my left cheek bone and my nose. My cheek bone is still very sore and swollen and my nose is crooked and still sore. Was wondering if I should be worried or not.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

If the nose is still crooked to the same extent then it is possible that there was a minor fracture or dislocation present and you should be assessed.

If the deformity is present but decreasing and the other symptoms are decreasing as well, then you can monitor for now. The use of anti inflammatory pain medication such as ibuprofen, cataflam or naproxen would help.

I hope this helps
