General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Dofetilide used as an antiarrhythmic drug is known to produce multiple small joint swelling with fluid retention.

After the cessation of drug therapy, it takes around 2-3 weeks for the body to revert the previous tissue changes back to normal.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Purva Patel,
