Many viral infections of new born do take time to recover over a period of time , which varies from type of viral load. Following measures will help you for her better outcome: - Discuss the need of further antibiotics with her pediatrician (as usually it is not effective and needed at 9 days post infection) - Inhalation of vapors of boiled water (placing vessel nearby taking care that she does not get burns) - Room temperature maintenance - Avoid air conditioner or cooler air - Adequate breast feeding to combat the natural immunity and fight against underlying infection
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
