Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Pain medications are adjusted according to the severity of pain and the doses are tried to keep the minimum so as to decrease the long term effects. If you are already taking it on alternate days then there is nothing to worry.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Praveen Tayal, Orthopaedic Surgeon
