Hi,
I understand your concern.
Pause is a drug used for controlling bleeding problems on short term basis. IT can be safely taken till 10 days at the most. If you find the bleeding to be decreasing, with the drug you can continue it till 10 days. But if it's not controlled till then, you need a gynecologist's consultation.
Looking at your history of having irregular & profuse bleeding over a year' time.....along with USG showing thick endometrium.. I feel your problem is due to hormonal imbalance-which needs to be investigated & specifically treated by a gynecologist.Pause helps only by controlling bleeding& not the cause of bleeding.

Thanks.
