How Long After The Implantation Of IUD Can Sexual Activity Be Resumed?

Alright on January the Monday 16 thru the 20th on Thursday, I had my period and on a Thursday 26 of January ...I had an appointment with my OB/GYM and had the IUD inserted that same day ... I just want to know how long can I have sexual intercourse safely after my IUD is inserted.... I was just wrong of being shy to ask my doctor questions because it was my first time ... So can someone please help me thankyou!
