How Long After Having Late Periods Can I Take A Pregnancy Test?

Hello good afternoon.. hopefully my question is basic and not too much. Im married and now on 12 days late on my cycle. Last night at about 830pm I took a home pregnancy test and was definitely a faint positive meaning I can see the 2nd line but not as dark. The thing that worries me is that not always but Maybe once a day for the past 3 days I have been wiping clear discharge with a tint of pink. What does that mean? I m kind of concerned could I have gotten a false positive? No heavy blood or dark red..thanks so much!

Welcome to HCM and thanks for asking your question.
I wan to tell you that pregnancy tests will be positive after 35 days of last period and many times it will be faint positive in initial days. So i guess, as you are having faint positive test, mostly you are pregnant. But still i would recommend you to repeat the test after a week with early morning urine. Or else you can consult a gynec and undergo sonography to confirm a sac.
Clear discharge from vagina can occur normally and it might be urine and so you need not to worry about it. if the discharge is white or bloody or foul smelling or associated with itching, then you need to consult a gynec to get examined yourself. Meanwhile you can check your blood for CBC and urine for routine and micro examination.
