How Long After Completing 39th Week Of Pregnancy Can C Section Be Done?

I m 39 weeks and 1 day my due date is in a couple of days and I m sick of being pregnant . My baby is breech head up feet down I m 0% effaced 0 cm dilated and my doctor still hasn t brought up the option of a scheduled c-section. I know that he is not going to flip he s been in the same position since 15 weeks and facing my back. What can I do to get this baby out . Besides sex and walking and the normal crap or should I get another doctor?

Normal delivery has its advantages over C-section and once C-section is opted, chances are that even for the next delivery you might undergo, C-section might be the only option. Many of the breech presentations turn positions after onset of labour. If such a development does not occur, only then C-section is attempted although it can also be done on elective basis. Just talk to your doctor and discuss what can be done. Please be patient a bit more. I do not think that you need to do to a different doctor if your doctor is otherwise sincere enough.
