How Long After An Abortion Is Pregnancy Advisable?

Hi doctor I am 27 year old,got pregnant once and missed abortion happened at 8.4weeks by lmp and after 5months I conceived again and by 7.6weeks in usg fetal pole was not found and beta hcg was reducing.....after all this I did my torch work up after 6weeks which resulted as cmv igG more than 250 reactive.......and cmv igmis negative including all other results in torch negative.... My question is that do I need any treatment for this? When can I go for pregnancy next? Will this cmv igG positive result affect my future pregnancy?

Hello,

Having increased IGG will not affect pregnancy and it doesn't require treatment. You can wait for about three months and try for a pregnancy again. Meanwhile, you can start to take folic acid treatment.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
