How Is An Adnexal Cyst Different Than An Ovarian Cyst?
I just had a CT scan of my abdomen b/c I had a kidney infection. There was blood in my urine, so they wanted to see if I had a kidney stone. They found an adexnal hemorrhagic cyst on my left side. I had a hemorrhagic ovarian cyst on my left side last summer. I also had a hysterectomy in 2010 at 38 years old due to adenomyosis and hyperplasia of the uterus. I never could conceive children. So my questions are: how is an adexnal cyst different than an ovarian cyst and can a CT scan tell if it truly is a hemorrhagic cyst? Thanks!
