On friday night at work I was involved in a nitric acid spill. instead of shutting down the tank it was accidently opened. When i went into the back room it was a choking effect but i ran up the stairs and was able to shut it off. It splashed on my arm which had cigerette burn like spots and a bigger burn on my wrist. I was barely audible when i got it under control. I also had a huge headache for a few days. I have had a very raspy throat. I went to the hospital and they had called poison control I am putting cream on the burns but my throat is still raspy. The hospital said that the lungs sounded fine when he checked with a stethascope. Should I just wait a few days or should I contact my doctor
