Hi. I lost a close friend last month and it s been getting to me these past few weeks as I ve just began my 2nd year of college and am having some financial issues. I m sexually active but haven t had intercourse in 2 months...last period I had was completely normal and this month my period is about 7 days late.. Hi

Thanks for sharing your concern here!!

It is completely normal to have irregular period during times of stress. I do not think you should seek treatment for the delay in cycles straight away.

In case your periods continue to remain irregular even after three or four months, You may consider paying a visit to the gynecologist, who will guide you to certain pills that help in regularizing cycles.

Hope I answered your query.
