How To Switch From Tresiba To Lantus?

How do I switch insulin from tresiba 26 units to Lantus 50 units tresiba was taken in the morning instructions say to take Lantus at night I think the units for Lantus is too much only taking 24 of tresiba I must figure out how to do this in the morning or tomorrow out of tresiba must start taking the Lantus

Hello,

Few studies have mentioned that the conversion from glar -100 to degludec then you have to take 10-15% decreased dose of degludec (tresiba).

In case you're taking glargine-300 then you may decrease the degludec dosage just 2-3%. Few studies mentioned that no need to decrease the dose.

But anyway please consult your treating physician/endocrinologist they will examine and treat you accordingly.
