How Can Worm And Mucus In Stool Be Treated?

Hi, I used the restroom earlier and I found a white/clear worm in my stool. It was a little over an inch long. It happens to be the only one I found. But I also had a lot of 'mucus looking' discharge around my stool. Could you please tell me what this might be?

Hello,

The possible mucus discharge in stool is associated with gut flora alterations by the worm. You need anti-worm and antibiotic treatment specific to gastrointestinal (GI) by your doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
