Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My husband took a drink of Scotch and it aspirated into his lungs ; it was just a swig. He was not drunk. He is still wheezing ( it is not as bad but after 6 hours, he is still not breathing normal). As I type, I can hear him while he sleeps: it is not as gurglely as in the beginning. He does not have severe Asthma but still has it. He does not need breathing treatments. Looking forward to your response. Susan

How Can Wheezing Be Treated?
Hello, Consult a pulmonologist and get evaluated. Most probably he will improve with bronchodilators. If symptoms persist you can go for a CT thorax. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
