How Can Vomiting In An Infant Be Treated?

Hii doctor. Doc prescribed neopeptine drops for 2 month old baby. My baby is vomiting frequently. This is only one problem. Otherwise he is healthy gaining weight regularly wetting 8 to 10 diapers and no crying at all. Should I give neopeptine drops?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello there I have read through your question and understand your concern. Give neopeptine drops only if you think your baby has gas and colic. otherwise it is not needed. The commonest cause of vomiting in your baby's age is regurgitation due to overfeeding. Feed at regular intervals of three hours. Make sure to burp him properly after feeding. Raise his head by using a soft cushion when sleeping. I hope that answers your question. If the vomitting s persist consult your paediatrician. Thank you for choosing healthcare magic.
